“Preta – The Realm of Hungry Ghosts”: This live visual animation aims to translate the intense inner monologue of a tormented addict into an anxious visual form. The animation draws on the song’s key emotions—despair, greed, anger, frustration, anxiety and obsession—mirroring the raw intensity of the lyrics through carefully selected imagery. Faces, representing these emotions, are fragmented and distorted using mask-cutting techniques and distortions, creating a deliberate visual dissonance that represents the protagonist’s inner chaos and the distorted perceptions caused by substance abuse.
